Welcome to Some Crust Bakery! Some Crust Bakery has been Claremont’s Bakery for over 100 years. We are proudly an institution in the city of Claremont, a beautiful college town about 35 miles east of Los Angeles, nestled at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains and Mount Baldy. If you are looking for quality, hand-made baked goods, cakes, pies, cupcakes, bread, sandwiches, coffee, and so many other delicious treats, then you have come to the right place!

Attention Crustomers- Unfortunately, because of some equipment malfunctions, Some Crust has no internet or phone service. This happened this morning, Tuesday Feb. 17th, and our provider, Frontier, is saying they won't be able to make it out to us to make repairs until Wednesday afternoon. We won't be able to do credit card transactions and won't have phone service until our equipment is fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It is beyond our control. Please bear with us until Frontier can make their repairs. Thank you.
Attention Loyal Crustomers- Christmas is fast approaching! If you want to pick up goodies from Some Crust on either Monday, December 22nd, Tuesday, December 23rd or Wednesday, December 24th, you will need to have your pre-orders in to us by Sunday, December 21st. Because of the high volume of orders, we will not be accepting pre-orders after that date. Some Crust will be open 6:30am until 4:00pm on the day before Christmas, Wednesday, Dec. 24th. The Cafe side will be closed that day, (we need space to stage all the pre-orders), and we will not be serving either sandwiches or sliders. All items will be sold on a first come, first served basis, and we will not be able to hold items for later pick-up. If you do decide to stop by Some Crust without making a pre-order, we would advise you show up as early as possible, as the selection of items available will be better. The day before Christmas tends to be one of our busiest days of the year, so be prepared for lines. Those customers with Christmas pre-orders, who don't need anything additional from the Bakery, will be able to come to the Cafe door, give their name, and a Crustie will fetch the order from the orders lined up in the Cafe. We will have plenty of Crusties on duty to help you and get you off to your holiday plans as quickly and efficiently as possible. Some Crust Bakery will be closed Thursday, December 25th, Christmas Day, and Friday, December 26th, Kwanzaa/Boxing Day, so that our employees can spend time with family and friends. We will be open our regular hours again on Saturday, December 27th, from 7:00am until 6:00pm. New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31st, Some Crust will be open half the day, from 6:30am until 12:00pm. The Bakery will be closed Thursday, January 1st, New Years Day, and will return to our regular hours on Friday, January 2nd, 6:30am until 6:00pm. We want to take this time to wish all of our Crustomers Happy Holidays, whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, and a Happy New Year. We also want to say a big Thank You to all of our loyal Crustomers for your support, patronage, and friendship throughout the year.
